no promissary note
we didnt sign a promissary note at closing and now they want us to play. must we pay?

Is your question "The bank gave us all the money we asked for after we applied for a loan then due to some oversight or error on the part of the closing agent, we failed to sign the promissory note. What are my obligations and responsibilities?" You have two options, pay the debt or don't pay the debt. If you don't pay, you will likely be sued.
