Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Virginia

If you own property in the state of Virginia and you have a relative living on that property and you are trying to sell it and the property is in disarray (ie., cars in the yard, uncut grass, etc.), can you get a court order for them to clean it up. Thank you.

A court would be unlikely to order such a relative to clean it up but an order evicting him/her from the property would be more likely (if that's what you asked for).
