Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Virginia

I am looking to purchase a house in my area. I looked at the house and was pleased and am interested in purchasing this house. The house is not going through a real estate agent and I was wondering what should I do to put an offer on the house and what should I do before that?

Before you determine what to offer for this property, you might

want to do some comparative pricing to get an idea as to what similar

properties are currently selling for in that neighborhood.

Then contact the owner or whoever is handling the sale and make

the offer for this property which you believe has some chance of being accepted.
