Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Virginia

i put a hot pot on the floor which left a burnt mark on it. only 4 vinyl tiles were affected. they just inspected and want me to pay to replace the whole kitchen floor. is there any way around it because i can't afford it.

Get another opinion and estimate from a legitimate floor tiler as to what

reasonably needs to be replaced in the situation you've described and tell

them (presumably the landlords) that this is what you'll pay for.
