Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Virginia

real estate abandoned property

We bought a house in June 2006 and the seller left property there, like 2 sheds ( that did not convey - she wzs going to move them ) and other personal property that was left in 2 other sheds that were staying. After 3 months she would not get her stuff until we sent hera letter stating that she had until the end of Aug. She scambled and cleared out our 2 sheds but did not take the 2 sheds that she said did not convey. We have now asked her not to enter the property and she is no suing us for her property and 2 sheds. Who owns the property ??

Re: real estate abandoned property

Your answer to the former owner's lawsuit against you should be that she is welcome to claim her property at issue at any time but if for whatever reason she does not, then you will have no alternative but to dispose of it as you see fit.
