Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Virginia

real estate contract

i own a condo below a woman is selling her condo. the owner has hardwood flooring which she is not allowed to have via the condo by laws. she will not cooperate with the condo board and remove them. To my knowledge there is no contract on her property but if i contact her real estate agent and tell her that the inspection done by the property management company done prior to selling will reveal that the hard wood floors are a violation can that be considered interfering with a contract? My thought is that by informing the real estate agent she may feel compelled to inform any potential buyers or may encourage the seller to correct this violation prior to selling the property by putting wall to wall carpeting down.

Re: real estate contract

If you convey the information to the agent in general terms as applicable to not only the unit above you but to other units in the condo complex as well, it would seem unlikely that you later could present a viable target for a suit alleging tortious inteference with a contract, business relations, or whatever.
