Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Virginia

Real Estate Dispute

My two siblings and myself were deeded a piece of real estate property by our parents several years ago. My sister and I want to have the property appraised, and then sell it, dividing the sale price into thirds. Our brother does want to sell the property. What are my sister's and my options in order to proceed with the sale of the property?

Re: Real Estate Dispute

If in fact you meant to say that your brother does not want to sell the property and that you and your sister do wish to sell, your remedy is to retain counsel to file a suit to partition in the circuit court where the property is located.
