Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Virginia

After first refusing (because it was a sunday) to fix our water heater, breaking VA Maintenance Code 505.4. Property manager sent out an unlicensed repair man to fix our water heater, who left knowing full well and not telling us that the repair was not completed properly, causing a gas leak. What immediate action can I take?

Hard to say without an explanation from you as to what damages

you actually incurred proximately caused by the actions of your property manager/landlord, or, perhaps, by this "unlicensed repair man".
