Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Virginia
i have roaches in a townhouse i have just rented on the 21st of this month and have been told by a pest service that the problem is too far gone to be able to fix i have three children ages ranging from 9-2 and am wondering if i have grounds to break my lease as the landlord doesn't seem to want to speak to me right now Please respond asap thank you

Do you have sufficient grounds for claiming what the law terms a "constructive eviction" based upon a roach infestation which would allow you to terminate your lease unilaterally without penalty?
In my opinion, probably, you do not.
