Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Virginia

Sailor & Soldier Civil Relief Act (SSCRA) - Foreclosure

My husband was called to active duty from reservist for 1-1/2 yrs, he is already gone overseas. Our home is being foreclosed on in less than 14 days. I was told that the SSCRA - Sailor and Soldier Civil Relief Act may be my saving grace or helping hand. Can anyone tell me if this is true and what do i need to do to stop my home from being foreclosed on? The house in only in his name. Please help ASAP!

You should retain an attorney, immediately, or, if you cannot afford to hire one, visit your local legal aid services office to see whether you can qualify for one who can prepare and file the necessary SSCRA papers which may well halt the pending foreclosure action on your home.
