Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Virginia

security deposit

I had a tenant move into my house about a month ago and we agreed to give him a grace period to pay the security deposit. The grace period has now ended and we also do not get along in a tenant/landlord stance. Do I have the right to kick him out since he has paid no security deposit at all?

Re: security deposit

You have a right to have him evicted if he has materially violated the terms of the lease which governs his tenancy but only according to the terms required by this lease for such an eviction.
