Can sellers real estat agent sue me for commissions if I decide not to by house in virginia

If you signed a contract to purchase a particular

house from its seller but subsequently then decided not to buy it, you could be liable to the seller for breach of this contract but not to the seller's agent for his or her lost commission from this sale which never happened due to your change of mind.(my opinion).
