Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Virginia
Selling mobile home
I would like to sell my mobile home by having someone assume the loan with my mortgage company. What is the legal way to do this and what does it entail?

Re: Selling mobile home
All you need do is find a credit worthy person whom your current lender would agree to assume your loan and have the paperwork prepared for the loan assumption and accordingly executed.

Many loans are not assumable. I would suggest having an attorney review your loan documents. An attorney might be able to help with alternatives as well.
