Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Virginia

I am selling a property in Florida. A contract has been presented to me that calls for a 3% commission for the listing agent and a 3% commission to a real estate agent/broker who happens to be the purchaser? Is this proper?

Why wouldn't it be (proper)? However, if you feel otherwise,

simply reject it. (Commissions of 6% on such sales are still quite

common, however they may be split.)
