Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Virginia
In the state of Virginia, does a renter of a house have the authority to give possession of that house to another person OR a company? Example: A renter of a house is approached by a company for a foreclosure to relinquish the premises and is paid a fee to do so. HOWEVER, it was the wrong house and the foreclosed property was next door.
