Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Virginia

Can I stop a foreclosure on rental property? Sent wire transfer for the amt I was told verbally to bring loan current & it was sent back. Kept asking for a letter in writing for exact amount & was told it had been mailed. Never recvd anything. This went on for a month. Now they are trying to foreclose. Isn't there something that can be filed called an "enjoin" or something to delay this so I can at least try to sell the property & pay them off?

What difference would it make that the property scheduled for

foreclosure is a rental property?

If you're the owner of this property, you should probably arrange to schedule a consultation with an attorney who specializes in foreclosure compliance issues to ensure that all of the legal procedures required in your case have been properly followed and to determine whether, possibly, at this late date that you may have a viable basis to contest/delay the foreclosure.
