Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Virginia

Suing condominium associations

I am one unit owner in a community of approximatly 200. The board has taken it upon itself to make the individual unit owner liable for items deemed the "

responsibillity of the board" according to the bylaws. they are also dictating how many people are allowed in each home, and eliminating the possibility of leaseing my home. they want to institute a 40% cap on rental property within the community. I do vote on these issues however they have also lowered the amount of homeowners needed for a quorum from 67% to 35%.Now they are ammending that to 25% in my opinion just to be able to vote these curious ammendments in their favor. At the same time my condo fee increased 30% at the start of this year. My question is do i have any legal right to sue the board without impacting me personally? If not do i have any other options? Thank you very much for your consideration

Re: Suing condominium associations

You may or may not have rights to stop this, apart from your voting rights. You need to have a lawyer review the governing documents for the condo.
