Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Virginia

Last summer my old roommate's ex girlfriend had left a television and a bunch of dvds at our apartment last year. When the lease was up I packed my belongings up and moved out. The remaining items (my roommate and his ex's) were thrown away by the property manager. Are there if any legal ramifications that could be felt on my part?
