Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Virginia

I am a tenant in Virginia & I want to know my rights during a short sale. Do I have to move during the short sale process? Also the agent said I had to move before she lists the property?

No, unless there is proper legal authority requiring such a move on your part and you should begin

by reviewing your mortgage document to determine whether it may reference any such requirement

in the event of a short sale situation. (And, merely, because the listing agent is claiming this, doesn't make it so.)
