Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Virginia

Time-share rescission

I bought a timeshare on Saturday 6/2/2007 in Virginia and now want to cancel. Do I have any legal rights? Even if the contract says no cancellations?

Re: Time-share rescission

If your timeshare purchase resulted from a solicitation over the phone

to your residence or a visit by the seller to your residence, you would have three days to cancel.

Otherwise, no. (Timeshares, as you're apparently now learning, are virtually never a good deal for the purchaser/consumer.)
