Trading House Deeds

We saw a for sale sign stating they would trade? Do they trade house deeds? How does that work?

Re: Trading House Deeds

It could mean that you deed your house to the other party who deeds their property to you. One might be worth more than the other so additional consideration (money) might be required. Also I highly encourage retaining an attorney and buying title insurance for any property that you acquire. You would want to be sure the seller has authority to convey the property.
