transfer of deed
How can I transfer real estate into my name. My grandmother is in a rehab center.Need to transfer real estate so that her debts will not take the home for payment of the hospital bill.

She may deed it to you by Deed of Gift, however you must be careful if creditors are "on the horizon" as the transaction could be considered a voluntary or fruadulent conveyence under Virginia law.
