unsigned check

Can i deposit an unsigned check into my bank account. The check is supposed to be for escrow deposit for tenants in a building which i purchased. The seller refuses to replace the check.

Good Morning,

An unsigned check is often not acceptable to the bank where presented. If it does et pat our bank and is then eturned, you could face a charge from your bank. Moreover, it is likely the seller is contractually obligated to make this payment. This unsigned check may be a breach of the contract.
