We have received a notice from our homeowners that they are cancelling our old home insurance because we are not living there. When we changed our address, the post office notified the Morgage Company, who conntacted the Insurance Company, now they are pressiing us on cancellation of our homeowners insurance. What can we do?

So, send a written explanation to the lender that the old home is in the process of being sold and that you expect to have a buyer for it before too much longer and that as a consequence the current mortgage loan wiill be paid off with no further need for any homeowner's insurance.
