Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Virginia

My ex wife is asking me to sign some loan modification paperwork so she can get current on a joint mortgage we have. I gave up rights to the property during the divorce but didn't have anything that required her to get the house out of my name financially. She has agreed to sign a document saying that if I sign the loan modification paperwork she will assume or otherwise get the house financially released from my name within 6 months or put the house up for sale and use the funds from the sale to pay off the primary mortgage. Is this a document I could draw up or pay someone online to draw it up? I'm unable to take off work to meet with local lawyers to do this. Thanks!

I would suggest that you have her arrange for the preparation of this proposed

document by a local attorney which you could then send a copy to

another attorney (unconnected with the matter) to review (for a fee) to determine whether it properly represents your interests in the proposed transaction.
