Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Virginia

ok. my wife a few years back co-signed on a loan to help her sister and her sister's boyfriend get a house. im not sure if the boyfriend was on the loan or not. her sister defaulted on the loan all together. my wife then recieves notification that she is now to pay for everything. the remainder of the loan is now on my wife. the sister doesnt live there anymore, but the boyfriend does. now, my wifes parents took out a new loan to pay it off to get it out of her name. so we pay them $550 a month for god knows how long now. my question is this. since my wife technicaly payed off the loan. does she have any rights to the house legaly? can we sell it or rent it out to make back all this money we are loosing?

No, your wife would have no right to sell or rent the property or to assert other claim of ownership unless her name is on the deed/title to the property.
