Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Virginia

The wife's mother was living with us and had a storage shed put up in my back yard..

since then she has taken ill and is moving...there is alot of fighting over this in her familiy...now her son that has power of attoreny wants this shed dis-assmebled so he can put it in storage.

Do we have to do this or since it is in my yard is it mine???.

Unless your mother in law gave you this shed as a gift,

it would remain her property and would not become yours merely because

it was put up in your yard (presumably with your permission).
