If property was given to 4 people as a gift in Va. Can it be broken by one of the 4 ?

The one tenant in common would be able to file
suit in the circuit court to have the property partitioned or, if such is not feasible, then sold in lieu thereof with the proceeds from the sale divided equitably among the four owners.

Agree with my colleague. But I wish the question was more clear when you ask "Can it be broken..." We assume you mean "Can it be broken up..." If you meant "Can the gift be canceled somehow" you need to clarify.
