Legal Question in Sexual Harassment in Virginia

Do I have a case even with no documentation?
My boss has referred to me as 'eye candy' for that I do have a witness. But he has also at times hugged me shoulder to shoulder and tried to give me marital advise. He's expressed to me 'him and his wife no longer have anything in common' and the like.

I am honestly not sure if this amounts to sexual harassment, I have never been involved in a lawsuite of any sort and don't know where to go from here or if I even have a case.

I would doubt that what you've described is enough to make out a prima facie case for alleged violations of federal antidiscrimination law but

it might be advisable for you to think of a diplomatic way to put your boss on notice that you

want these kinds of actions on his part to cease

and that if they don't then you'll have to start seriously considering what legal options may be available to you.
