Legal Question in Sexual Harassment in Virginia

love

I am 21 and I live in virginia my girlfriend is 16 she lives in Pittsburg we are very deeply in love we plan to 2 marry as soon as she turns 18 her mom doesnt like me and as threatened 2 call the cops but we have never had any sexual contact at all but i have seen pictures that she herself has sent me can I get in some legal trouble?

No, I would think not since age 16 is above the age of 15 which in Virginia is the threshhold for an adult to get into serious trouble with a minor with such matters as statutory rape.

IF you have nude, partially-nude, or suggestive photos of this young girl, you should get rid of (DESTROY) them NOW. Tell her NOT to send you any more.

They could get you into more trouble than a statutory rape charge... They might be viewed as child pornography. There are state and federal laws that can come into play with such things.
