2 year relationship. ended by one party. promises of promotion at our place of work..and financial promises. are there any laws concerning this?

Unless there was a demonstrable so-called quid pro quo (sexual favors demanded and given in return for job benefits provided [or promised] in terms of promotions and compensation), it is unlikely that this would qualify as a viable sexual harassment claim that would survive the defendant's initial responsive pleading (motion to dismiss under FRCP 12).
