Legal Question in Sexual Harassment in Virginia

Sexual Harassment

I have been bartending at a certain bar for over 2 years. One late night the owner insisted on giving me a lap dance, including him tearing his shirt off. It was obvious I was uncomfortable and I did not accept his forthcomings. Other co-workers saw him do this. I have never had a relationship with him of any sort except owner/worker. Three weeks later, I have no shifts at the bar. None of the supervisors will get in contact with me to tell me if I have a job or not. Should I sue for sexual harrassment? I have never been written up or in any serious trouble at work. Thank you.

Re: Sexual Harassment

So, what's the explanation given that you "have no shifts now at the bar? Have you made inquiry?

I would think that more information is needed here before you go off to the nearest EEOC office to file your claim

for sexual harassment.
