Legal Question in Sexual Harassment in Virginia

suggestive note

I worked at a school. A female student(I'm male) started playfully poking me. I poked her a few times. I wrote a note telling her we had to stop. Her parents think it was sexually suggestive. I was told by school officials that I couldn't return and there might be a lawsuit. Is this grounds for a suit?

more importantly, that girl.
