Civil Question
I contacted a tax specialist in another state (Vir) by email. I needed to submit an amended 07 return. I was unable to speak with them in person about the price it was going to cost. I did send in my tax info by email, this all took Tuesday, I recieved the first phone call from the agency. I asked the amount I was going to be charged and was given an amount I could not afford. When I got off the phone, I wrote an email after deciding to prepare the amendment myself advising the company NOT to prepare the tax amendment. She replied ok, then sent me a bill for 125.00 for the emails I sent, their one phone call and two emails and there supposed beginning on my amendment. QUESTION
Am I liable for this 125.00?
The price was never discussed with me and as soon as it was, I sent an email the next morning dening their service.

Re: Civil Question
You can always try to dispute a bill if the price was not discussed.
Good luck to you.
