I met a girl online who wanted a partner for giving massages. She had been doing so by herself for 10 years or so. She said her clients were always asking her about a 4 hands massage. We sat down and discussed what we were both to expect from the partnership. We charged 120 for an hours massage and split it 50/50. We split the cost of laundry detergent and took turns doing the laundry. We split the cost of the table heater, massage lotions and everything right down the middle. I lost interest in about 60 days and we went our seperate ways. Today I received notice from the IRS stating that she claimed me on her taxes in 2008 stating she had paid me 6,000 dollars. I'm beside myself. I've already filed my taxes for '08 and I'm mortified that she's claiming she paid me under her house cleaning business. Help!

So, respond to the IRS's notice that her claim of you as a dependent is bogus and with any evidence that you may have to support this assertion.
