Legal Question in Traffic Law in Virginia
accident in parking lot
while pulling out of a parking spot, another car impacted my back bumper with their front bumper. I wasn't certain if I had hit the car or if they had hit me. A witness said the car saw me pulling out of the spot and quickly drove directly behind me and stopped. No police were called, but I did give the other driver my phone number (they took my license plate number). They did not give me their information. Who (if anyone) is at fault and what should I do if she contacts me?

Re: accident in parking lot
Why did you agree to give up your information while the other driver was more than pleased to withhold hers? If this person now contacts you and demands to be paid, you should tell her that under no circumstances will you pay her anything without first discussing the matter with an attorney.
