Legal Question in Traffic Law in Virginia

Can an agency prevent me from getting the times of a traffic stop in a timed school zone? The stop occurred after 3:30pm when the zone closed and The Capt stated "you may never see those times"

Letter of Discovery? freedom of information act? witholding evidence in a frivilous charge?

So, call up the school and ask for written verification of the times. If necessary,

since the matter would be adjudicated in general district court, as the defendant you could also request that the clerk issue a subpoena duces tecum to the school authority or other agency in possession requesting a record of the times.
