Legal Question in Traffic Law in Virginia
I was cited for rear ending someone that was making a uturn on the crest of a hill with no turn lane. The opposite way has a turn lane and a no u turn sign but my side had neither. My citation was following too closley. My question is i why was i cited that when i wasnt even following her, why is there a no u turn sign the opposite way where there is a turn lane but not for just across where there is not? My state is Va and this was a 2 lane road each way with an opening on one side for a company and an opening for traffic.

which should've been asked of the officer who ticketed you?
If you feel that you were unfairly cited, go to court to contest it.
