Legal Question in Traffic Law in Virginia
following to closely..
I was at a traffic light stopped behind another vehicle in the left turning lane. While waiting for the light to turn green some how the pressure I was applying to the brake lessened due to me not pressing hard enough so I bumped this guy. The damage was two small indentions from the screws that hold the plate on. I got a ticket for following to close. Doed that really apply since his vehilce was stopped? Can I get out of this ticket?

No, I don't think so and predict that you'll have to pay this particular ticket.
