Legal Question in Traffic Law in Virginia
Under what conditions am i required to produce an id? When i was in TX, we didn't have to show drivers license unless there was a valid probable cause. Hoping to know so my rights aren't trampled on.

In Virginia if you're in a locality which has a local ordinance
requiring such action on your part, i.e., when a local
law enforcement officer has reasonable cause to request it, you must produce the ID or face being cited for violation of this ordinance.
