Consequencies of this speeding ticket
i got a speeding ticket for 61 in a 45, three days before my 18th bday. and its my first ticket, what will the courts do for the consequences. i planned on prepaying it though. thanks

If you prepay for this infraction, you'll have a speeding conviction on your record as it was charged (61 in a 45 zone) which will likely result in some points being placed against your license. However, if you appear in court on the day your case is scheduled for a hearing and talk with the prosecutor assigned to your case(ideally) before the matter is called, you may get it reduced to something like 55 in a 45 zone which could result in fewer points on your driving record.
