Legal Question in Traffic Law in Virginia
drivers license
What happens if your license is suspended and you still drive and you are pulled over and you use somebody's else name therfore the ticket goes in the persons name?
If the person finds out later, how much trouble are you in?
And can the person sue the cops?

Re: drivers license
Lots of trouble for you, potentially, in terms of the possible criminal charge(s)that could be preferred against you, and, no, the victim in this case is likely to have a better civil case against you for damages rather than against the cops who apparently were merely acting upon the information which you fraudulently had given to them and which they were very likely reasonably entitled to rely upon at that time.
