Legal Question in Traffic Law in Virginia
Driving with a Suspended License
I was stopped by an officer 2 weeks ago and discovered that my license had been suspended in December for failure to prove insurance coverage. My license was taken by the officer but I was threatened by my supervisor (at work), that if I don't get my license reinstated soon, I will lose my job. I've thought about driving on suspended license, for an 8 day period or until I can afford to pay the money to have my license reinstated. Would you please tell me the consequences and penalties of driving with a suspended license. Thank you
