Re: Driving w/ suspended liscense

Yes, DWS(Driving While Suspended)is a jailable offense in the Commonwealth but no first time offender goes to jail

for conviction of this offense. However, if at all possible, you should have an attorney

representing you to ensure that the matter is settled with minimum adverse consequences to you. (FYI, the issue of whether you had proper notice of the suspension is important in these DWS cases.)
