Legal Question in Traffic Law in Virginia
Failure to obey traffic light
I received a ticket for VA code section 46.2-833. I approached and stopped at a red light and proceeded to make a right. There was no oncoming traffic and no sign indicating that I could not turn on red. I think this ticket was wrongfully issued. Also, I live in MD and am not able to make it to court in VA. How should I proceed? Thank you in advance!

Either prepay the ticket or show up at the Virginia traffic court on the appointed day and time to contest it.
