Legal Question in Traffic Law in Virginia
I have a handicapped sticker prominently displayed in my windshield. I have received TWO tickets from the meter maid when I parked at a meter without putting coins in them. I understood that was legal. One ticket was for 'expired meter', the otehr was for 'multiple space meter' Is that legal?

As I understand it, the handicapped placard allows one to park in a space
designated for handicapped parkers only, but does not otherwise exempt such persons from having to "feed" the parking meter itself or otherwise pay for the space. (The motto of the Arlington Parking Authority appears to be: "ALL MUST PAY.")
