Legal Question in Traffic Law in Virginia

hit a parked car

i parked in between two cars and left, when i came back there was a note saying i had hit the persons car in front of me and that thier paint was on my bumper, i saw no paint on my bumper and they did not see me do it or having any pictures, I really don't think I hit the car, do they have a case? what will happen?

Hard to say; even if you receive a warrant in debt for the damages allegedly caused by your negligence, that doesn't necessarily mean that the plaintiff has a provable case.

Nevertheless, if you are eventually served with papers indicating that a lawsuit has been filed against you, you would be well advised at that time to arrange for a consultation with an attorney who can properly advise as to how you should go about preparing and presenting your defense.
