Legal Question in Traffic Law in Virginia
Incorrect Vehicle Year Listed on Summons
I received two traffic summons. One for failure to obey a highway sign and one for improper display of license plates. The officer wrote the incorrect year of the vehicle I am driving on each one. Instead of an 88 the officer wrote 98. One Summons has my license plate number and the other does not. Is this information enough to invalidate the ticket?
