Legal Question in Traffic Law in Virginia
Incorrect warrent info
I was cited for underage possesion of alcohol and on the warrent it says the arrest location was at Foodlion when in-fact it was outside an apartment building. Do I have an arguement in court on the warrent being written wrong?

Re: Incorrect warrent info
No, if your were outside the apartment building in the common areas or on the public streets, and you, illegally, were in possession of alcohol, the court will permit the citation to be amended to reflect where the incident took place and the charge will stand. Note: this matter obviously belongs in criminal rather than traffic law.
