Legal Question in Traffic Law in Virginia
My job had a break in, I drove there to make sure everything was ok, when I got inside the building the cop was there. Nothing was disturbed. He ran my social to make sure I was who I said I was, it came back that I had a DUI and my license is suspended for unpaid fines, he went to his car and got the breath alyzer came back in and made me take the test. He then gave me a ticket for "driving" on suspended, however he didnt pull me over. All I did was walk in the building at work, he said he saw me pull up, he impounded my dads car, my question is can he legally make me take the test while on my job when he had no reason to think I had been drinking other than the fact that I had a DUI two years ago?

No, and you should've refused to take this test.
